Abstract

A Level III intensive cultural resource survey was conducted on two additional expansion areas at the northeast and southwest ends of a previously surveyed block surrounding a proposed dam construction and reservoir expansion area around the two Twin Lakes. One previously recorded historic forest service pack trail crosses the southwestern area, and no other sites were found. No significant cultural resources are known to occur within the project area, and cultural clearance is recommended in these two areas with no special stipulation. It is recommended that additional historical documentation of the previously recorded pack trails be done by a professional historian.
